Hello from May!
We have exciting news this month, so let’s get going!
My top three writing tasks this month are:
1. Outline books 9-12 of AOTW
2. Prep S&S for copy edits
3. Finish TWH’s copy edits
My debut series. There are 12 books planned for the series, so here are their statuses:
#1, Lake of Glass, #2, Vault of Stone, #3, The Raven’s Cry, & #4, Veil of Mist: Published and continually marketing.
I can hardly believe I have four published works out in the world, and I am so grateful for all of the support and love VOM has already received!
#5, The Wolf’s Howl: The book is with my copy editor, and we plan to finish it this month.
#6-#12: I’ve been outlining fiercely for the last month, and it has already paid off so much! I’m very excited about the direction of the final books of this series. Currently, I’ve got the outlines for books 6-8 complete.
My outlining method has changed from what I originally planned, but I’ve found that it’s working well for my process. At present, I’m working on chapter overviews for books 9-12 (I’ve completed 9 and 10) before fleshing out those overviews into actual, detailed outlines. Once that’s done, I’ll move on to drafting book 6.

#1, Fire & Night: I’ve started ARCs for the book, and it’s been sent off to a few authors and review publications for endorsement.
The limited-release Fire & Night: Serial Edit paperbacks are still on sale. There are only 64 copies left. So, if you like the serial edit and want a collector’s edition on your shelf, make sure you pick it up.
#2, Sword & Shadow: I’m about to begin a pre-edit proofread to make sure that the book is as strong as it can be before going to my copy editor.
#3, Relics & Thrones: My paid subscribers are receiving a chapter every weekday until the book is fully released. Chapters 1-48 are currently live.

I’ve followed Amanda Auler’s journey since we both published our debut novels (Daughter of the Sun for her and Lake of Glass for me). I’m so excited to see her series' conclusion! Auler’s writing is beautiful, the world-building is deep and complex (in the best way), and the plot’s twists and turns will cause your jaw to drop. 😱
